Aortic Dissection on POCUS Echocardiogram - PSAX view
Patient presented with chest pain.
TEE sens (97-99%), TTE sens (59-83%), TEE spec (97-100%), TTE spec (63-93%). Better for proximal dissections. Rule in not rule out.Have found helpful in critically ill - especially detection of associated pericardial effusion/tamponade.
