Central Retinal Artery Occlusion (CRAO)
Anatomy: First branch of the internal carotid artery is the ophthalmic artery which splits into the posterior ciliary and central retinal arteries which supply the eye.
Causes:
  - Carotid artery stenosis (most common)
  - Cardioembolic sources also important cause.
