Characteristic ultrasound appearance of Fournier’s

gangrene, demonstrating scrotal wall thickening,

peritesticular fluid, and hyperechoic foci

with ‘‘dirty’’ shadowing in the posterior wall of the scrotum

representing soft tissue gas.
