Drugs Causing Acute Pancreatitis


Class Ia: The medications in which there was a rechallenge and other causes of AP are ruled out. 


Class lb: Atleast 1 published case showing rechallenge but the case failed to rule out other common causes. 


Class II: Cases in which a consistent latency has been repolted in more than cases, and atleast4 

case reports were found in literature. 


Class Ill: 2 published case reports giving dose and latency. Cases lack rechallenge. 


Class IV: Weakest association in form of case reports in literature
