Live Ectopic Pregnancy on Transvaginal POCUS



Young female patient, severe abdominal pain. +preg test. Pelvic exam followed by POCUS transvaginal showed this 😳 (see below for diagnosis). 



Live 12-week ruptured ectopic pregnancy in the left adnexa. Pearls: #1 Confirm and then re-confirm you are seeing an IUP or not. #2 Unstable patients should not leave the ED, #POCUS at the bedside #3 Ectopic pregnancy can be live
