Suppurative Lymphadenitis on Neck POCUS with Color Doppler



Male with left neck mass/swelling/overlying redness.  Prior hx of MRSA.  Would you I&D?  See additional images in thread.

Left neck mass case.  Answer: Suppurative lymphadenitis. Increased Doppler flow with focal hypoechoic area without flow.  Differential would be necrosis/hemorrhage into metastatic node.  Doppler is key.
