Plantar Grasp Reflex

A little bit of neurological semiology of the newborn / infant with this super classic primitive reflex: Plantar Grasp Reflex!

This reflex should be present in all newborns and, in general, disappear with a maximum of 11-15 months.

It is always cool to remember that the presence of these reflexes at the expected age means that everything is fine with the neurological part of the baby! The opposite is also a rule: if they persist after the expected time, something may be wrong and the baby should be evaluated by a specialist.
