ES diagnosed (≥ 3 episodes of VT/ICD therapies in 24h)

Does patient have ICD?

Assess hemodynamic stability

Unstable

 • Electrical cardioversion as per ACLS

 • If ICD not terminating arrhythmia, magnet + external cardioversion

Stable

 1. Identification and correction of reversible causes

 2. Assessment of VT

Monomorphic VT

 • +ICD

 • -ICD

Polymorphic VT

 • Normal QTc

 • Long QTc (Torsades) / Acquired
