Cerebral Salt Wasting vs SIADH - Pathophysiology 

1) Neurological event

2) Sodium loss from tubules

3) Naturiesis → diuresis → hypovolaemia

4) Hypovolaemia → ADH → water reabsorption

5) ↓ Na+ → Subclinical volume expansion



→ Increased urine volume, hypovolaemia

→ treat with fluid therapy

→ rare
