Interstitial pneumonias
An acute reticular pattern is most frequently caused by interstitial edema due to cardiac heart failure.
The other cause is interstitial pneumonia:
Viral
PCP
Mycoplasma pneumonia.
This patient presented with a nonproductive cough and some fever.
This was a PCP-infection as a first manifestation of AIDS. #Clinical #Radiology #CXR #Acute #Interstitial #Pneumonia #PJP #RadiologyAssistant
