Outline ALL bones
Check soft tissues
Assess heart borders
Is density, behind the heart the same on both sides?
Check AP window
Assess azygous contour
Carina angle
Check and compare hilum position, density and morphology
Gas under diaphragm?
Can you see hemidiaphragms clearly?
Check apices for pneumothorax, tumour, cervical rib
Check lung periphery
