There are several mnemonics that people use to remember the names of these bones.
During the first year of medschool, I learned “So Long To Pinky, Here Comes The Thumb”.
This one is helpful not only to remember the names but also to remember the sequence because “Pinky” and “Thumb” tell you about the orientation!
There are several others available. Some popular ones are:
 - “She Looks Too Pretty Try To Catch Her” and
 - “Some Lovers Try Positions That They Cannot Handle”!
