Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome
What?
 • Unilateral orbital/retrobulbar pain
 • Paresis of the cranial nerves Ill, IV, VI
 • Involvement of V1, V2 and oculosympathetic fibers can occur
Why? 
 • Idiopathic!
 • Granulomatous inflammation of the cavernous sinus, superior orbital fissure or orbit (MRI)
Treatment: 
 • Corticosteroids → resolution of the symptoms
