Anterior Drawer Test for Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Injury on Knee Examination 



The Anterior Drawer Test assesses for a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

With the knee flexed at 90 degrees and the foot planted on the table, pull the proximal tibia anteriorly.

Excessive motion or a soft endpoint is a positive test.
