Ipilimumab-Induced Hypophysitis.
Pituitary gland enlargement occurs on therapy & resolves after therapy.
- Ipilimumab is a monoclonal antibody that blocks cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen-4, and adverse events may occur due increased T-cell activation.
- Clinically, patients can develop anterior hypopituitarism.
- On imaging, pituitary enlargement is the main finding, while stalk thickening can also be seen.
- Resolves after therapy.
- History of drug therapy important to not mistake for a metastasis.
