Comparison of oral OTC antihistamines.

Clinical practice guidelines (PMID: 25644617) recommend 2nd-generation/less sedating oral antihistamines for adult otherwise healthy patients with allergic rhinitis experiencing primary complaints of sneezing and itching, but we all know there are several considerations that may guide therapy selection: symptom characterization and severity, cost, past experience, comorbidities, drug interactions, age, etc.
