As a Clinical Specialist, you’ll be an effective and influential contributor to our work, developing intelligent and intuitive tools that help improve health journeys for clinicians and patients. You’ll use not only your clinical expertise but also your excellent listening, communication, and leadership skills to appropriately shape the content, design, and execution of products.

Responsibilities
  • Use clinical expertise to provide trusted guidance, insights, and leadership on health-related products and projects, working very closely with research, product, and engineering teams
  • Understand the complex health and healthcare environment and ecosystem, and translate this understanding into research study design and/or user-focused product requirements
  • Identify relevant policy, practices, and trends related to medical devices and digital health, and use these to influence product development
  • Respond to the needs of the business and projects prioritizing efforts effectively, which may require leading on certain projects and contributing to others

Minimum qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine degree and completion of accredited residency/fellowship or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of clinical experience in metabolic health (e.g., endocrinology, bariatric surgery) or integrative medicine
  • 4 years of experience in regulated medical device product development, from the concept to the product stage, with the appropriate validation

Preferred qualifications:

  • Completion of a biodesign program
  • Experience working with physiological sensors and data
  • Experience with digital health regulatory policy
  • Experience with digital health product development
  • Experience in clinical research and digital health evaluation
