Clover's Value Based Care team is responsible for the development and implementation of programs to support the growth and long term success of our Direct Contracting / ACO REACH initiative.

We are hiring for a Chief Medical Officer who will report directly to the CEO, Value Based Care. In this role you will partner with senior leadership across our Value Based Care organization as well as broadly at Clover to ensure the success of our ACO REACH and other value-based programs.

As Chief Medical Officer, you will:

• Oversee quality and total cost of care management of value based programs.
• Lead a team of administrative and clinical leaders to develop and drive key population health initiatives for each risk strata (Low, Rising, High) across Clover’s network.
• Partner with other Clover teams to increase utilization of Clover Assistant across the ACO REACH Network.
• Consult with technical liaisons to provide input to Clover Assistant product development.
• Collaborate with other health equity leaders on the ACO REACH team to build a formal health equity plan.
• Serve as the clinical lead for the ACO REACH program internally and externally.
• Partner with the Director of Clinical Transformation  to ensure consistent practice transformation opportunities are identified and addressed in the network.
• Direct the geographic division of responsibilities for the team to provide physician support to practice groups as needed.
• Serve as the lead on all clinical communications both internally and externally for ACO REACH and other value based programs.

You should get in touch if:

• You are an MD from an accredited program with at least 10 years of experience in leadership/practicing in a population health and/or value based care model.
• You are board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or other primary care specialty.
• You are familiar with principles of clinical compliance and have led clinical teams and improved and scaled clinical programs, ideally as a medical director.
• You have a strong execution mindset with the ability to hold others accountable to high performance standards.
• You are technology savvy and have experience communicating cross-functionally with patients and colleagues.
• You are an innovator that is willing to test new models of care.
• You are comfortable working with patients of diverse social, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
