Two-step Copeptin algorithm for differential diagnosis of Diabetes Insipidus (DI)

Baseline Copeptin < 21.4 pmol/L:
 • Arginine-stimulated Copeptin < 3.8 pmol/L → Complete or partial Central DI
 • Arginine-stimulated Copeptin ≥ 3.8 pmol/L → Primary polydipsia
Baseline Copeptin ≥ 21.4 pmol/L (without prior thirsting) → Nephrogenic DI
