Prolonged Capillary Refill Time

Press a glass slide at the ventral aspect of index finger. Keep it blenched for 10 seconds. And measure the time to return of circulation.

What a useful hemodynamic monitoring tool when done in a standardised way. Especially in resource limited setting. Even in dark-skinned individual.
