The Cormack-Lehane Views - These views are important when you actually attempt laryngoscopy or intubation of the patient. The views decline in awesomeness from I to IV. Grade I views indicate that you can see the vocal cords, epiglottis, and the arytenoids clearly on laryngoscopy. Grade II views are typically only of arytenoids and epiglottis, with perhaps a small sliver of cords in view. Grade III views only visualize epiglottis. Grade IV views indicate that no glottic structures are in view, and typically are associated with difficult or failed intubations. #Diagnosis #EM #PCC #anesth #CormackLehane #Cormack #Lehane #Classification #Grade
