Nail folds can be helpful as well. There are a variety of nailfold changes found in CTDs (LE, scleroderma) and they often overlap, but the most common ones found in DM start with "D": Dilation, Drop out, and (my favorite) DANG those are some big cuticles! (cuticular hypertrophy
