Finally, mechanic’s hands which are common to Anti-synthetase syndrome and another type of DM (ant-MDA5) typically present with erythema, hyperkeratosis and fissuring of the distal finger tips and radial aspect of the first 3 digits and sometimes palmo-plantar surfaces
