Focused POCUS Lung and Cardiac Ultrasound Exams in COVID-19 Patients

1. Turn machine on / Enter patient info / Select phased-array probe and abdominal exam

2. With probe marker pointed cephalad, acquire & save 4 views of right lung and 4 views left lung (FIGURE 1)

3. Document highest lung score of any interspace in each lung zone (FIGURE 2). Consider linear probe for pleural details.

4. Change to cardiac exam. Acquire and save parasternal long-axis view (minimum) (FIGURE 3). Assess gross LVSF.
